Change Your Life by Changing Your Thoughts

Identifying what thoughts you need to change is easy, but it's challenging to think of the things you need to do to change your thoughts. Your thoughts act as a filter in a camera
on which you view your life. They determine your focus, what you put your energies to, who you associate with and what and how you spend your time.
Your actions are practical reflections of your thoughts, so its important to create a deliberate change in the way you think. The change you identify should bring fulfilment and happiness to your life.
The good thing about the brain is that it adapts to anything that we bring about our thinking patterns. The power to stay happy, sad, anxious and fearful is within you. Note that you
have what it takes for you to succeed in whatever you want if you put your thoughts into it!
If you want to be the person you desire to be, you must choose to make tough decisions that will let go of........
Pride:- You must be willing to admit that you need help by being humble to seek help where it's needed. You must be willing to learn, demonstrate a teachable attitude and learning from life experiences and people who can mentor you in activating evident change.
Let Go of past regrets:- We all have made mistakes in the past. Our experiences in life make who we are whether good or bad. You cannot change the past but you can change on how you respond to it, negativity about the past will only hold you back.
The fortunate thing is that you have the power to choose how you will live your present and future life and learning from past mistakes. Personally I have a heap of regrets that I can hold to, but I made a resolve to learn from the mistakes and put a focus on the positive thoughts around the situation.
Create Positive Affirmations:- Affirmations are scared and they have a spiritual force. As mentioned above the brain is always adapting to your thought patterns. Positive affirmations correct negative thoughts, and it's even much better when you write them down and read them aloud. Some good examples are like "I can't do it to I can do anything if I put my thoughts to it."
Appreciate What you already have:- Another great way of changing your thoughts is enjoying the success you have achieved, as opposed to putting your thoughts negatively about what you have not achieved.
Every negative situation has some positive aspect, even this Corona season has a positive side eg. washing and sanitizing our hands is a good habit if it can be maintained. What have you learned in this quarantine and lockdown season?
Stepping out of your Comfort Zones:- We all have a comfort zone that makes us feel safe in that shell but if we want to create changes, in our thoughts we have to step out of our shells. It's difficult to get out of a cosy shell but we have to expose our minds to possibilities of change. Strive to learn a new thing every day even if it makes you feel uncomfortable at first, as you continually do it soon it becomes easier.
I believe that thoughts have the power to transform your life. Make a resolution to change your life by changing your thoughts. You can achieve anything by putting your thoughts into that which you desire.
