The uncommon commands; the uncomfortable truth that can happen to you is doing the same thing and expecting different results!
Another uncomfortable truth is that nothing will happen. Are you still following me? Hope you are. You need to do things differently to get different results.
You need mastery in your skills to have an edge in anything you are in pursuit of. Unfortunately, it takes time, commitment and effort to acquire a genius in anything.
You may want different results but you must be willing to pay a price.
Success in anything has a price tag.
The price tag includes the time you should invest, the commitment, and the new knowledge that you have to source for.
Some helpful tips to learn.
1. Commitment
Are you ready to commit time and lots of effort to have mastery in anything? The first commitment is about your perception because it has to be right, despite how unpleasant the consequences might be.
For example, you can first identify you need to enhance your skills to get better; what changes do you want to make?
2. Mastery
Follow your Passion; Is this good advice? Well, I’d rather put it; let the passion follow you to develop mastery that the universe can’t ignore you.
That’s a great place to be where you dictate your terms. Finding what you love doing is different from doing it right.
Identify your strongest skills and commit to having mastery. You need to invest time doing the craft practically acquiring more knowledge and doing it right. when you get the craft in an exceptional way, you can be assured you will get the pay-offs.
Ideas are great and on a scale of 1 to 10 you could have an average of 7 good ideas. The unfortunate thing is ideas cannot make you wealthy but the execution does.
3. Embrace Opportunity
I believe everyone you meet has the potential of helping you. Social skills are important and further more; formulating a database follow-up with people you meet.
People are great resources and keeping in touch keeps you in their minds. You can reach out to them weekly, monthly or annually according to how you value them.
Be open-minded and be ready to fold your sleeves to pursue opportunities. Keep knocking on different doors, and guess what? One will open.
4. Learn different Skills
Learning different skills will always give you an edge over your peers. Learn public speaking, writing, or playing a musical instrument.
These skills add to the success of your main pursuit. For example, a doctor who is a musician and public speaker. Different profession with valuable skills set right there!
These skills multiply to your success.
In final thoughts working right and embracing systems that add value to your pursuit is crucial. Ultimately, mastery will make you stand out, and earn you a guru status in your field. It’s possible and you can do it!
