Do you belong to the generation of movers and shakers who are adamanat of exchanging their passion with a pay cheque?I struggle when am asked what my dream is but am trying to articulate it.My greatest passion is to inspire people to pursue their calling(purpose)and to unlock potential.

Dreaming big is perfect but actualizing the dream is what most people struggle with. If you are a young person who is still struggling to find yourself and you feel lost, about your dream that’s perfectly normal. Majority of people did only that it takes longer for some.

Life experiences, passion and skills are a good package of accumulation of your dream. Most people who have realized their dreams have experiences that were adverse.A good example is a legend like Nelson Mandela who was behind bars for 27 year. That was a remarkable resilience.

The willingness to make right choices and taking action was what Nelson Mandela did. What choices are you making in pursuit of your dream? Sometimes i have conversations with people who dream of building a business but they have never attempted to sell “mandazi” I get sceptical in such a response.

Taking your time before realizing your dream is natural and a little hesitation is normal, but note that procrastination is a killer of dreams. Some simple way of finding out what you are cut out to do is to commit to a thing that you love doing.

If it works, then pursue; if its vague pick another thing you fancy till you get there......One thing you have to do is to reinvent yourself.

There is nothing mystical to those that are movers and shakers. The setbacks that are attached in pursuing your dream are a willingness to persevere and to defy odds that would tempt you to quit.

You could be juggling in between jobs or raising a young family. The process maybe slow accompanied by failure. Failure is a good sign that you are trying. Failing forward ...a powerful book authored by John Maxwell.

Expect criticism especially when beginning, but what keeps you focused is Passion....the path to do what you love is far outstretching. Choose to do something differently and make an impact in someone’s life.

Nothing will happen when you are still, start that thing that ignites something in your gut. Finding out your calling or purpose will not be easy it will take work and reflection.

It’s never too late to reinvent yourself, nobody likes to look stupid but it’s worth it if you are on your path. Get into action, don’t die with that great dream its needed. Try it once more...don’t quit!
